JUUC Advocacy Warriors Spar in a Thrilling Battle for the Crown

The Justice Udo Udoma Chambers has prided herself in producing well-rounded law students, who are able to excel academically and also excel in areas such as writing, public speaking and the likes.




In her bid to push her members, the Justice Udo Udoma Chambers, via the Directorate of Practice, organised an in-house moot and mock trial competition. Competing in this daring challenge were the four JUUC teams: Team Dignity, Team Kereti, Team Love and Team Dominic.


To battle for the crown, the four teams put out their best speakers. An intense legal brawl on the 29th of March, 2023, left only two teams standing to proceed into the finals: Team Kereti and Team Dominic. 


On the 31st of March, 2023, all fingers were crossed and all breaths ceased as the two teams battled to claim the title of the winning team. All heads remained struck in trepidation until Team Kereti narrowly bested Team Dominic, emerging the winner.




Representing the winning team were pacesetters Sensunny Udosen, Idaresit David, and Peace Eseyin. The team was coached by Godwin Atang, SAL. 


Team Kereti is headed by Sensunny Udosen and his vice, Abraham Onyeka. 


With the spar in the temple being the only inter team event at the moment, Team Kereti leads. Could Kereti clutch the title of the team of the year?


Indeed, we must wait and see.
